oh that sounds like such a lovely day! riding public trans, stopping for pizza... being with kids (other peoples' kids!) make for the best Sundays.

I like Fable Far, and Table Tar. My friend K's kids pronounced "ch" as "sh" for the longest time, and the pasttime was to come up with questions that would get them to string as many 'ch/sh' words together as possible:

Q: Where'd you go for lunch?
A: Shucky Sheeses.
Q: Did you have pizza? what kind?
A: Sheese
Q: What kind of cheese?
A: Shedder Sheese
Q: But that's not your favorite food. What's your favorite?
A: Shinese food

ahhhh, we cried when their lisps finally wore off....
