seriously, I think it's a great move, and will be a significant differentiater as your career advances. I have to imagine that, for an indie contractor, it could end up being an invaluable marketing tool -- not just in the sense of perhaps eliciting new clients through the blog, randomly, but also as an enhancement of personal legitimacy for potential new clients sussing you out.
